Contribute

There are many great ways that you can contribute to the quality of life in Auburn Hills. Here are a few ways for you to become more involved.

  • Serve on an Advisory Board or Commission.
Auburn Hills is always looking for fresh eyes and insight to serve on one of nearly one dozen citizen advisory boards. I served on the Planning Commission for five years and enjoyed every minute.

Other boards include: the Zoning Board of Appeals, TIFA (Tax Increment Finance Authority), the Brownfield Redevelopment Authority and the Beautification Commission.
  • Take the First Step.
Fill out an application. It's short and doesn't commit you. But it does let the Mayor (who makes the appointments) and the City Council (who approves the citizen appointments) know you're interested. Click here for the application and more info on our citizen boards and commissions.
  • Meet More of Your Neighbors at the weekly Farmers' Market.
    I'll see you there every Thursday, June 17th – Oct. 21st from 3 – 7 p.m.
